D2 is looking for a qualified ACCOUNT MANAGER to manage and oversee all activities related and required to support overall communications needs for a global client. In addition, the ideal candidate will promote and support all D2 capabilities. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working alone and in a collaborative environment. This individual should be a strong communicator, with keen attention to detail and a customer-centric attitude.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving and monitoring the development, review and release of instructional, marketing and training collateral for specific audiences. You will help ensure compliance with all brand and quality standards. You will work alone and with teams, both customer (brand, product and sourcing managers, engineers, technicians) and colleagues (writers, editors, graphic designers). The ideal candidate will be organized, a fast learner and able to easily adapt to rapid changes. Our sole focus is on our customers and providing best-in-class content and service. Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in regular meetings to gather info for new and ongoing projects
  • Communicate and assign work requests to the appropriate D2 staff, addressing schedule concerns, direction and special projects
  • Provide effective, accurate and timely communications to all stakeholders with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and partners by functioning as liaison to funnel questions and answers to appropriate personnel
  • Provide regular updates on projects with internal and external resources
  • Utilize onsite resources to track down product answers, product samples, and collateral for D2 resources
  • Manage project scope, schedule, risks and issues to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Measure the quality and efficiency of each delivery. Proactively provide feedback on lessons learned and contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of all project management processes and tools
  • Coordinate and schedule all D2 meetings or calls with appropriate teams (internal/external resources)
  • Learn and become the point person for our client’s project tracking software to help with updates and day-to-day operations
  • Contribute to and participate in regular client business reviews
  • Keep D2 top-of-mind to help drive business capabilities appropriate customer needs
  • Occasional travel and some evening time required, as necessary
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • B.A. degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with customers and colleagues at all levels
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Technical aptitude, critical thinking, able to understand basic product features
  • Able to work independently or with a team
  • Resourceful, able to take initiative
