D2 is looking to fill several openings for a large customer project starting in September and potentially running through March of 2025. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to take initiative. All should be strong communicators, both written and verbal, with keen attention to detail, outstanding time-management skills, and a customer-centric attitude. We are seeking to fill the following positions:
- Technical Writers
- Graphic Designers
- Project Managers
In these roles, you will work with others to create instructional and marketing materials, such as user manuals, labels, and packaging for a variety of consumer products. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner and able to easily adapt to rapid changes. Our sole focus is on customer experience and providing best-in-class content. You will have a significant role in helping us achieve that goal.
TECHNICAL WRITER
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create user-friendly documentation, including user manuals, quick setup guides, labels, and more.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate, clear, and consistent information.
Qualifications:
- At least one year experience writing for consumer tech or related field.
- A. or Associate degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Technical aptitude, able to understand and articulate basic product features and functionality
- Critical thinking skills, ability to sift through sometimes confusing/conflicting information.
- The IDEAL candidate will own Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, and Acrobat Pro
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other team members to create and develop user-friendly documentation, such as user manuals, quick setup guides, labels, and more for consumer products
- Understand product functionality by reviewing source materials, and/or working with product samples
- Design and manage desktop publishing, applying appropriate style guidelines and brand standards.
- Create vector-based product illustrations, as needed, for customer product documentation
Qualifications:
- At least one year of professional experience in graphic design.
- A. or Associate degree in communications, graphic design, marketing, digital media or similar field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite publishing software, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Familiar with both digital and print requirements.
- The IDEAL candidate will own Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
PROJECT MANAGER
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technical writers, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure that project and customer needs are met.
- Communicate new or changing documentation standards or requirements quickly and clearly
- Actively track project scope and schedule and identify potential risks or issues to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
- Proof drafts to make sure review changes are implemented accurately and completely.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of professional experience in project management.
- A. or Associate degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Digital Publishing, or related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Acrobat Pro
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
- The IDEAL candidate will own Microsoft Office and Acrobat Pro

IT TECHNICIAN
We are hiring!
D2 IT is looking for a qualified, entry-level IT TECHNICIAN to troubleshoot, maintain, and install computer systems, networks, and software for local and regional customers. In this position, the successful applicant will be comfortable frequently switching between various systems and talking with multiple different customers each day, over the phone/Teams, or onsite at the customer’s location.
To be considered for this job, you must be friendly and approachable, and eager to speak with and explain issues to customers. These qualities are essential! The ideal candidate will also have a thorough knowledge of computer hardware and software, as well as a variety of software applications, operating systems, and networks. This individual should have strong troubleshooting abilities and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Record, update, and document customer requests and maintenance items using the IT help desk
- Take ownership of customer IT issues by carrying out problem analysis to implement temporary or permanent fixes to restore service as soon as possible, or escalate incidents as needed.
- Set up customers with computers and peripheral devices, including basic network connection support
- Check or repair computer hardware to ensure functionality
- Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
- Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
- Follow guidelines to ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in person, remotely, or via phone as needed
- Work independently and with a team in a constantly changing environment
- Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without impacting the work of others
- Occasional travel may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position, or understanding of computer systems / networks
- Excellent verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical customers and colleagues at all levels
- Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Good knowledge of Internet security and data privacy principles
- Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field is an advantage but not required
- IT Technician certification, e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft, is an advantage but not required
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
- Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally use a ladder, hand tools, and install equipment on the floor or around obstacles
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
