Our social outreach efforts focus on vulnerable and underserved communities. We provide resources to help individuals create a better future for themselves and their families. D2 is committed to helping those in the communities in which we work and live.
Books for Budding Brains
Books for Budding Brains is an initiative to collect and distribute new or gently used books to underserved Siouxland children. We want, however, to deliver more than just a book: we want to offer a message of hope. We want to show our children that the capacity of their minds is not limited by economic situation and that sometimes, in fact, the best way out of a bad economic situation is to develop their brains through reading. Since 2009, we have collected and distributed more than 40,500 books at various events and activities in and around Siouxland.
Best Buy Foundation, benefitting Teen Tech Centers
D2 is committed to our community and its success. One way we participate is through our support of Best Buy Teen Tech Centers. This program helps bridge the digital divide and provide young people in under-resourced communities with opportunities to develop valuable tech skills. We at D2 believe this program plays a crucial role in the future of our communities.

Boys and Girls Home Contributions
D2 cares about victims of abuse, neglect, and mental illness and demonstrates that commitment by contributing to initiatives of the Boys and Girls Home. We regularly support Tailgating for Kids, Face Off for Charity and Art for the Heart fundraisers which enable this important community non-profit to give children and families the opportunity to lead healthy and productive lives.
